Store Policy

Cancellations: Your treatments are reserved especially for you! We value your business and time, and ask that you respect our scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Last Minute Cancel & No-Shows: Clients who cancel within 24 hours or miss their appointment will be charged in full for their scheduled service. Our clients and staffs are valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. This policy also applies to gift card and gift certificate holders.

Appointments: All appointments; in-store, online, or over the phone, must be made with a credit card on file. A temporary $1 authorization fee will be instantly refunded once credit cards are validated as active. A confirmation email will be sent and an appointment reminder the day prior. Please read your confirmation email carefully such as service, date, and time. Any gift cards, vouchers, or certificates must be mentioned at the time of booking. Access to the treatment room is restricted to the client undergoing treatment exclusively; companions are not permitted in the treatment room.

Service: Payments on services and treatments in our shop are non-refundable. Your happiness and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 718-622-0365 or e-mail us at KSkincareNYC@gmail.com and we will be more than happy to help.

Products: Unopened products in original, undamaged packaging can be returned within 14 days for store credit when accompanied by a receipt. There are no refunds or exchanges on opened products.

Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates are non-refundable, and are good for five years from the original date of purchase. Lost and stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced. Unused balances on gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or use as gratuities. Online gift certificates are available. Gift certificates will be rendered invalid if the recipient misses their appointment without letting us know at least 24 hours in advance. Credit card information is required during booking; in-store, online, or over the phone.

Check-In: We suggest that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. This will allow ample time for a skin consultation necessary to customize treatments to your personal needs. If you are a first time client, a profile will also be completed prior to your service.

Late Arrivals: We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service times & you are still responsible for full service fees.

Spa Promotions: Spa specials cannot be used or combined with any other offer, promotions or third party gift certificates.

Loss or Damage: We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal items. We suggest you to leave your valuable items at home.

Cell Phones: To guarantee a relaxing visit for all guests, we ask that you please mute cell phones during your visit. Please maintain conversations at a considerate volume in all spa areas.

Health Conditions: Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, pregnancy or special needs that may affect your services.

Cleanliness: For your safety and health we are committed to the highest standards of cleanliness. All equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every service and treatment.

Gratuities: Our listed rates do not include gratuity. A recommended gratuity of 18-25% of each service price is appropriate and appreciated. Our estheticians accepts cash and Venmo. (Please let us verify your Venmo payment before leaving the store)

Payment: We accept most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express (AMEX). We do not accept any personal or traveler’s checks. We charge 8.875% of NY city and state tax on products and 4.5% of NY city sales tax on service. Cash payment is still accepted.
